Ingredients

Eggs, sugar, wheat flour, margarine, raisins, sultanas, currants, glacier cherries (E220 – sulphur dioxide), prunes, white rum, red wine, molasses, orange, lemon, mixed spice, cinnamon, baking powder (E450 & E500), nutmeg.

 

Known to many as Jamaican fruit cake, black cake or rum cake, each one is baked using the highest quality ingredients to ensure a deep dark, rich and boozy cake.

Each cake contains dark dried fruits such as raisins, currants, prunes and cherries which are blended to a smooth consistency. The cake batter is slowly baked on a low heat for several hours, before being soaked in lashings of the strongest Jamaican overproof white rum and Jamaican red wine.
Each cake is light and moist and is a perfect authentic sweet treat.

We bake in small batches to ensure that your order is of the highest quality.
